About the role

We seek a Full-time Lead Instructor for our Data Science & Machine Learning Bootcamp at our Remote campus. If you are passionate about data and machine learning and enjoy teaching, this role is for you!

Responsibilities

1. Oversee the entire academic experience of the bootcamp.
2. Teach on our Remote campus Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with specific timings.
3. Manage Teaching Assistants to support student success.
4. Foster a supportive community accommodating diverse learning styles.
5. Encourage strategic thinking and practical application of skills.
6. Support students' passions and ongoing learning.
7. Collaborate with Program and Outcomes Managers to meet professional goals.
8. Assess student progress and provide feedback.
9. Teach core topics like Python, SQL, machine learning algorithms, NLP, and computer vision.
10. Lead practical projects to build job-ready skills.
11. Ensure mastery of program outcomes, including deploying ML models and understanding MLOps.
12. Work with Curriculum Engineers to improve and adapt curriculum.
13. Create engaging course content, including lessons and mini-projects.
14. Foster community through participation in events and ongoing engagement.

Requirements

• 3-5 years in Data Science, Machine Learning, or related fields, with leadership experience preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish (instruction language) and English (communication).
• Passionate about data tech and teaching.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Proven ability to create new teaching materials and adapt lessons based on student needs.
• Strong communication skills and team management experience.
• Organized, reliable, open to feedback, and passionate about mentoring in the tech community.
