Jobtailor is seeking an accomplished Project Manager to lead EPC initiatives in the energy/industrial sector in Spain. You will set execution strategies, coordinate internal and external teams, and drive project hand‑over, planning, monitoring and control to meet all goals.

You will control project progress and finances, manage risks and changes, secure customer acceptance, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience managing large EPC projects in the energy or industrial sector.
• Skilled in navigating complex contractual setups with clients and partners.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple teams.
• Influential communicator with leadership presence
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
• Financial acumen and commercial awareness
• Familiar with risk, schedule, and change management
• Proactive mindset with a focus on results and collaboration

Responsabilidades

• Certifying local area readiness and delivering targets for customer satisfaction and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach and overseeing project hand‑over, execution planning, monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals
• Effectively monitoring and controlling project progress and efficient resource utilization
• Monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying and managing project risks, and ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, ensuring contract close‑out and its acknowledgement by the customer
• Procuring all required services, materials and equipment from external and internal suppliers, including support in negotiations, claims and project changes
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Acting as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues
• Responsible for HVDC activities in Spain with fiduciary delegation to act as managerial focal point within HE entity in Spain including operations and site development
• Overseeing HVDC activities within the local structure, certifying that the area of responsibility is properly organized, skilled and staffed as per its needs
• Delivering operational/project targets to ensure customer satisfaction as well as compliance with local regulations
• Ensuring the achievement of established targets through sufficient regular oversight and creating a definition of actions for improvement where applicable

Requirements
