Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced High Voltage Project Engineer for major Data Centre projects based in Madrid, Spain. The role focuses on HV substation design, grid interfaces, and on-site coordination with clients and contractors.

Ideal candidates will have HV experience, exposure to large-scale projects, and fluency in Spanish with strong English skills. On-site presence in Madrid area is required.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering (BSc / MSc or equivalent).
• Strong HV substations and grid-related civil works experience.
• Data centre project experience is highly desirable.
• Fluent in Spanish and good English.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end HV substation design from concept to detailed design.
• Coordinate interfaces between HV infrastructure and facility power systems.
• Support commissioning, SAP switching, and IST.
• Coordinate HV civil engineering packages for grid connection.
• Act as on-site client representative with TSOs, DSOs, EPCs, and contractors.
• Review designs, method statements, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, quality requirements and project specifications.
• Monitor project risks, change management activities, and progress reporting.
