Job summary

Aldebaran Group in Spain seeks an HV Electrical Engineer to lead the design of high-voltage architectures for industrial facilities, with a focus on renewable energy and green hydrogen production.

You will ensure performance, reliability, and compliance, support project teams in technical decision-making, and contribute to risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

This role requires independent work, strong teamwork across disciplines, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in high-voltage electrical engineering (HV/MV).
• Experience on large-scale industrial or energy projects, preferably renewables or hydrogen.
• Knowledge of power transmission and distribution; HV calculations.

Responsibilities

• Define, optimize, and validate HV architectures for installations, acting as technical authority.
• Coordinate design sizing studies for HV/MV/LV installations.
• Evaluate bids and discuss with contractors and equipment suppliers for electrolysis systems and infra.
• Advise project teams on technical choices for green hydrogen projects (high power, renewables integration).
• Propose innovative technical solutions aligned with energy transition challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design consistency (process, utilities, renewables).
• Contribute to the company’s technical and quality framework (procedures, standards).
• Location: Various geographical areas.
