Gameloft is seeking a Lead Game Designer to define and execute the game vision, lead the design team, and coordinate with Art, UI, Tech, Online, Data, Audio, Production and Human Resources in a dynamic Barcelona studio.

The candidate will have 6+ years in game design, with at least two titles released in lead roles, and strong Unity/Unreal prototyping, plus expertise in meta-game systems, balancing, UI/UX, and narrative. This hybrid role offers excellent working conditions in central Barcelona.

Formación

• 6 years of experience in game design, including lead or principal positions.
• Released at least two titles as lead/principal/senior game designer.
• Proven experience in 3Cs and gameplay systems design for PC/Console action genres.
• Experience prototyping with Unity or Unreal.
• Proficiency in meta-game and progression systems, balancing, UI/UX, level design, and narrative.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the gaming market and trends.
• Ability to maintain a defined creative strategy while adapting to changes.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Figma, etc.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with studio stakeholders and leads to define and execute the game vision.
• Direct the tone, gameplay, and meta structure focusing on innovation and AA Experience.
• Lead the design team to ensure cohesive experience across the game.
• Coordinate with level design teams to align mechanics and progression.
• Anticipate and mitigate threats to quality and innovation.
• Participate in recruitment for game designers and coordinate with departments.
