Overview

Financial Director to lead our client’s financial strategy and drive profitable growth in their Madrid office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Oversee finance functions, ensuring sustainable growth, optimized financial structure, and operational excellence.
• Promote financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, business planning, and compliance.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards to provide visibility and control over business evolution.
• Optimize service / project profitability and cost structures through data analysis.
• Drive operational efficiency and digitalization initiatives within the finance function.
• Nurture relationships with financial institutions and key stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Catalyze corporate transactions, mergers, acquisitions, investments, and joint ventures.
• Foster a financially driven culture focused on profitability and value generation.

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Economics, or related field. MBA or Master in Finance is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance / Controlling with strong consulting background.
• Proven track record in financial transformation, ERP implementation, and Business Intelligence tools.
• Ability to lead high-performance teams and manage change effectively.
• High professional English level (C1 minimum) and French will be a plus.
