As a Lead Engineer in Test Development, you will help shape the test strategy and drive software development of test systems to ensure manufacturing-ready quality and traceability. You will own the tester software, collaborating with hardware, product design, manufacturing, and quality teams. You will deliver software-driven test solutions that are reliable and efficient for real-world production. This role offers a chance to bridge design and manufacturing and to impact product quality and process robustness.

• Define and implement automated test solutions including test sequences, software tools, data collection, and debug workflows; integrate with hardware platforms
• Translate requirements into test strategies and technical plans supporting development and manufacturing
• Contribute to proposals, estimates, and concepts for new opportunities and engineering changes
• Debug complex tester issues using structured problem-solving (DOE, failure analysis, data-driven troubleshooting)
• Collaborate with product design to improve testability, coverage, and diagnosability
• Support ramp-up and sustaining manufacturing by stabilizing test solutions and improving yield and robustness
• Engage in technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders about software and automation approaches
• Experience developing software for automated test systems in manufacturing or product validation
• Programming capability in Python, LabVIEW, or C# for test automation
• Understanding of electronics and ability to read electrical diagrams
• Experience defining test methods, acceptance criteria, and automated validation flows
• Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters) during bring-up and verification
• Ability to balance software detail with system-level thinking and manufacturing impact
• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken)
