General Overview
Summary

You will be especially focused on software, sequences, and automation, owning the intelligence behind the tester while working closely with hardware, product design, manufacturing, and quality teams. You will help bridge the gap between design and manufacturing by delivering software-driven test solutions that are reliable, efficient, and ready for real-world production environments.

Detailed Description

What You Will Do

  • Lead the software definition and implementation of automated test solutions, including test sequences, software tools, data collection, debug workflows, and integration with hardware platforms.
  • Translate customer or product requirements into clear test strategies, software requirements, and technical plans that support both development and manufacturing needs.
  • Create or contribute to technical proposals, effort estimates, and solution concepts for new opportunities and engineering changes.
  • Debug complex tester and integration issues using structured problem-solving methods such as Design of Experiments, failure analysis, and data-driven troubleshooting.

  • Solid programming capability in tools and languages such as Python, LabVIEW, or C# for test automation and engineering software development.
  • Good understanding of electronics, including the ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and work effectively with hardware‑oriented teams.
  • Experience defining test methods, acceptance criteria, and automated validation flows for complex products or assemblies.
  • Confidence using laboratory instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and related tools during bring‑up, debug, and verification.
  • Ability to move between software detail and system‑level thinking, understanding how software decisions affect the full test architecture and manufacturing outcome.
  • Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate in technical and customer‑facing environments.

How You Work
