Celestica is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Valencia to develop and refine mechanical systems. You will explore concepts with 3D modeling and simulation to deliver robust solutions aligned with Celestica needs.

Responsibilities include calculations, drawings, and supporting manufacturing through the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate feedback from reviews and drive high-quality product development in a global engineering environment.

Formación

• Proficiency in design and analysis activities (calculations, drawings, 3D modeling).
• Experience with simulation software and cross-functional collaboration.

• Design and develop technical solutions within defined fields; collaborate with other engineers as needed.
• Prepare calculations and create technical drawings for proposed solutions.
• Design, modify and implement systems meeting customer and Celestica needs.
• Create designs using input from engineers, requirements, and DFx reviews.
• Submit drawings for review to management, engineering teams, and customers.
• Use customer feedback to upgrade or repair existing machines.
• Provide support during manufacturing process and finalize prints for production.

In this Mechanical Design Engineer role, you will develop new mechanical systems and refine existing designs. You will explore concepts with 3D modeling and simulation to deliver robust solutions aligned with customer and Celestica needs. You will perform calculations, test and validate designs, and support manufacturing throughout the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate feedback from reviews and drive high-quality product development. This is an opportunity to shape mechanical design in a global engineering environment and contribute to complex, high-reliability projects.
