Formación

Structural and Mechanical Engineer – Global Asset Management

Location: Spain, with consideration for Germany, Italy, France, UK, or other European countries.

Travel: Up to 70-85% required.

Languages: Spanish and English (mandatory), Portuguese (a plus).

Certification: NDT certification (mandatory).

Your Role: As a Structural and Mechanical Engineer, you will be vital in our Maintenance & Repair Services and Crane Advisory Service Agreement (CASA) projects. Responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting inspections and QA/QC activities on cranes and terminal equipment.
  2. Ensuring compliance with structural and mechanical standards during manufacturing, assembly, erection, and repair.
  3. Managing on-site project execution, stakeholder coordination, and reporting.
  4. Supporting continuous improvement in inspection and M&R processes.
  5. Working globally with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Vocational/technical education or Bachelor's degree in structural, mechanical, or hydraulic engineering.
  • 5–10 years of experience in steel fabrication, welding, mechanical/hydraulic installation, and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of structural and mechanical systems, ability to read technical drawings, proficiency in MS Office.
  • Languages: Spanish (mandatory), Portuguese (a plus), fluent English.
  • Mandatory NDT certification (AWS, ISO 9712, or equivalent).
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 50%.
