Lead Engineer Hybrid Powertrain Calibration

We are searching for highly motivated engineers with excellent background in calibration and a good level of English and Spanish to work in our team at Valladolid.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role is a mix between technical responsible and project management for a hybrid vehicle calibration team.

Following tasks are expected from the profile:

1. Pilot the calibration development towards the industrialization or serial-life phases.
2. Summarize the status from Software Development, Calibration team and Validation.
3. HEVC (Hybrid and Electrical Vehicle Controller), HECM (Engine Main Control Unit) or High Voltage components (BMS + Inverter) calibration.
4. Management of calibration documentation and macro-planning of the activities.
5. Timing assurance, quality gates preparation, reporting to project management and quality, support production plants.
6. Construction and achievement of the business Quality Cost Delay Performance commitment, according to regulations and business rules.

YOUR PROFILE:

1. Good level of English. French is a plus.
2. Engineering degree or similar. Master degree is a plus.
3. More than 5 years of automotive industry related topics (calibration, validation, software development) experience desirable.
4. Knowledge in powertrain and engine development - hybrid preferred.
5. Knowledge of high voltage parts such as: BMS (Battery), Inverter (Electric Motor) is a plus.
6. Project Management experience (Timing, quality, deliverables, reporting) preferred.
7. Team management experience.
8. High sense of responsibility, goal-oriented and social skills.
9. Extra curriculum activities like Formula Student is a plus.
10. Driving license required.
