About the role:

As a Radiation Engineering & Analysis Lead Engineer, you will act as a Technical Leader for offers and projects focusing on REA’s fluence and dosimetry businesses. You will contribute to technology development and improvements, and will have team management and leadership responsibilities.

You will report to the Manager, Radiation Analysis Engineering, and be located in Madrid, Spain. This is a hybrid position.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and be the primary contact for radiation analysis support of decommissioning, radiation protection, operating plant safety analysis, and AP1000 projects.
• Determine scope, schedule, and provide cost inputs for offers.
• Support resource planning for these projects.
• Lead the integration of new hires into REA and cross-train them in related groups (e.g., Waste Characterization, Decommissioning Planning).
• Support the REA manager and RWMD director.
• Occasional travel to industry meetings and/or customer sites for short field work assignments may be required.

Qualifications:

• BSc in Engineering required, preferably Nuclear Engineering or similar.
• 10+ years of applicable experience.
• Proven engineering leadership as a Technical Leader or Project Manager.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
