Hitachi Energy Spain, S.A.U. is seeking a Project Lead Engineer in Madrid to steer HVDC projects and tenders. You will coordinate global project teams, manage technical leadership, and act as the primary technical liaison for customers and stakeholders.

We expect an engineering degree, 5+ years in a lead role, fluency in English and Spanish, and willingness to travel up to 30%. This is a full-time, on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package and international exposure.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical Engineering or similar).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar lead role.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing.
• Up to 30% travel required.
• HVDC knowledge is a plus; power industry experience is a must.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary contact for technical matters with customers.
• Lead engineering development information across disciplines.
• Drive development of new solutions for complex projects.
• Oversee all engineering activities on projects.
• Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning.
• Prepare project documents within budget, scope, and contract.
• Ensure safety standards compliance and mitigate risks.
• Maintain technical quality in contracts, documents, and deliveries.
