Frekuent in Barcelona is hiring a Lead Data Engineer to own the data platform end-to-end. You will rebuild pipelines, establish standards, and enable AI tools across the company.

Work closely with the executive team to turn business priorities into a solid data plan. You will audit current platforms, set direction for modeling and CI/CD, manage performance and costs, mentor engineers, and foster a data-driven culture.

Formación

• 8+ years in data engineering, including leadership experience.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with cloud platform experience.
• Experience with modern data stack and data governance.

Responsabilidades

• Audit current platform and define a concrete, prioritized roadmap.
• Set direction for data modeling, ETL/ELT, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Own performance, reliability, and cost as data volumes grow.
• Partner with exec team to translate priorities into a real plan.
• Build CI/CD for analytics and enforce data quality and governance.
