AstraZeneca in Barcelona is seeking a Lead AI & Data Engineer to join the APD Platform Data & AI team. You will lead the design, development, and operation of scalable data and AI capabilities enabling R&D teams to access, analyse, and derive value from trusted data.

This senior individual-contributor role requires hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and collaboration with data engineers, AI scientists, software engineers, and product managers across geographies.

Formación

• Experience leading data and AI engineering in enterprise environments.
• Strong Python and SQL with cloud data platforms.
• Knowledge of ML lifecycle, MLOps, and AI services.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain production-quality data and AI solutions for the APD Platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver scalable, observable solutions.
• Implement data governance, quality, lineage, and access controls.
