Giesecke+Devrient busca un Cloud Engineer para diseñar y gestionar infraestructuras AWS y clústeres Kubernetes, asegurando rendimiento y seguridad. Requiere 5+ años en AWS y experiencia en Terraform/Ansible y monitoreo.

El rol admite horas flexibles con opción de remoto y un entorno ágil. Ubicación en Sant Joan Despí, Barcelona, con enfoque en migración de cargas y optimización de soluciones en la nube.

Formación

• Más de 5 años de experiencia con AWS, incluyendo EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS, Route 53 y AWS Organizations.
• Experiencia comprobada en migrar pilas a AWS (rehosting, replatforming o refactoring).
• Experiencia obligatoria con orquestación de contenedores, como Kubernetes (OpenShift) y/o Amazon ECS.
• Fuerte experiencia en Infraestructura como Código con Terraform y Ansible.
• Sólido conocimiento de administración de Linux/Unix.
• Experiencia con virtualización y contenedorización (p. ej., VMware, Docker).
• Conocimiento de herramientas de monitorización (p. ej., Splunk, Nagios) y ajuste de rendimiento de pilas de aplicaciones (Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, NGINX).
• Comprender conceptos de redes (modelo OSI, TCP/IP).
• Experiencia trabajando en equipos Agile/Scrum; SAFe es un plus.
• Fuerte capacidad de scripting (Bash, Python).
• Alto dominio del inglés.

Responsabilidades

• Diseñar, implementar y gestionar AWS Landing Zones e infraestructura base en la nube.
• Soportar la migración de pilas de aplicaciones a AWS, asegurando rendimiento, seguridad y escalabilidad.
• Gestionar y mantener clústeres de Kubernetes y despliegues de contenedores Docker.
• Automatizar infraestructuras y despliegues de aplicaciones usando Terraform, Ansible y pipelines CI/CD.
• Instalar, configurar y mantener sistemas operativos, herramientas nativas de la nube y soluciones de monitorización.
• Soportar soluciones en la nube en AWS, OpenStack y otras plataformas.
• Monitorizar y optimizar el rendimiento de las aplicaciones, depurar cuellos de botella y colaborar con desarrolladores.
• Mantener la seguridad del sistema, copias de seguridad y estrategias de recuperación ante desastres.
• Escribir y mantener scripts para mejorar la eficiencia operativa y reducir intervenciones manuales.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS Landing Zones and foundational cloud infrastructure.
• Support migration of application stacks to AWS, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters and Docker container deployments.
• Automate infrastructure and application deployments using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, cloud-native tools, and monitoring solutions.
• Support cloud-based solutions across AWS, OpenStack, and other cloud platforms.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and collaborate with developers on improvements.
• Maintain system security, backups, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Write and maintain scripts to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of extensive hands-on experience with AWS, including services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS, Route 53, and AWS Organizations.
• Proven experience in migrating application stacks to AWS (rehosting, replatforming, or refactoring).
• Mandatory experience with container orchestration, such as Kubernetes (Open Source and OpenShift) and/or Amazon ECS.
• Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Solid experience with Linux/Unix systems administration.
• Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies (e.g., VMware, Docker).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Nagios) and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, NGINX).
• Understanding of networking concepts (OSI model, TCP/IP).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams; SAFe experience is a plus.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and tooling.
• High level of English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST).
• Prior experience in telecom or mobile network environments.
• Understanding of GSMA security and compliance frameworks.
