Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Applied AI Engineer to technically lead our Applied AI Engineering team in developing AI products across the team.Blue group. The ideal candidate will leverage LLMs to build exceptional products and experiences. This role requires an applied engineering mindset, strong programming skills, and up-to-date knowledge of the latest AI developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and launch reliable, high-performing multimodal AI products and systems integrating text, image, voice, and video.
• Implement agentic AI systems using tools such as MCP servers and APIs.
• Build end-to-end AI-powered software applications with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Integrate AI solutions into existing environments and workflows, ensuring seamless operation and performance optimization.
• Conduct research on AI advancements and apply them to improve systems.
• Mentor teammates on product thinking and foster continuous learning culture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver innovative AI solutions.

Ideal Profile:

• 6+ years in Software Engineering, including leadership roles; experience in full stack/backend product-focused engineering preferred.
• Proven hands-on experience (3+ years) with Gen AI / LLM technologies in production (e.g., LLMs, Vector databases, RAG, AI agents) and prompt engineering techniques.
• Strong proficiency in Python backend development (FastAPI, Flask), microservices, and event-driven architecture (Kafka, SSE, WebSocket).
• Experience deploying and scaling RAG systems and AI agents in production.
• Expertise in integrating AI solutions into existing environments.
• Knowledge of LLMOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with multi-hop RAG systems, self-consistency, chain-of-thought prompting.
• Experience with LLM inference/serving (vLLm, LiteLLM, TensorRT-LLM).
• Knowledge of AIOps & MLOps, real-time inference deployment, and ETL pipelines.
• Experience in AI/ML R&D, distributed data tools (Spark, Dask, Apache Beam).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms.
