You will collaborate with biometrics, regulatory, and study teams while shaping the research agenda. Ideal candidates hold a PhD in a quantitative field and have deep ML expertise, strong coding skills, and a track record of impactful work.

Qualifications

• PhD in a quantitative discipline with 4–8 years of post-PhD experience and measurable impact.
• Exceptional software development and coding skills; knowledge of frontier AI frameworks.
• Deep understanding of machine learning with domain expertise in one or more AI subfields.

Responsabilités

• Define and drive the AI strategy and roadmap for Oncology clinical development.
• Lead high-stakes AI projects with scientific authority and matrix influence.
• Embed AI solutions into clinical study design and decision making.
• Establish external collaborations with academia and industry to advance AI.
• Represent AstraZeneca at conferences and contribute publications; mentor junior staff.
