Formación

• 5+ años de experiencia en animación 3D y 2+ años en un rol de supervisión.
• Dominio de software de animación 3D y técnicas de cinematografía.

We produced the sensational series Tara Duncan and Miraculous Ladybug season 5, both broadcasted on Disney Channel and Disney +.

We are now getting ready for an absolutely new captivating project, the series 'Messi and the Giants', produced by Sony Music Vision, Sony Pictures Television Kids and Leo Messi Management, and broadcasted by Disney. An epic saga where a young boy named Leo is transported from his home in Argentina into a fantastical alternate universe.

ATLANTIS ANIMATION is seeking an experienced and creative 3D Layout Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Tenerife, Canary Islands. As a Layout Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation and execution of 3D layout sequences, ensuring that the visual style and technical requirements of our animation projects are met. You will work closely with the director and other departments to shape the visual direction and ensure that the scenes are set up for animation in a way that supports storytelling and creative vision.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide the layout team, ensuring high-quality, consistent work.
• Collaborate with directors and art departments to implement visual and cinematic concepts into layout sequences.
• Ensure that layout sequences are aligned with the overall aesthetic and technical requirements of the project.
• Plan and create camera setups, staging, and scene blocking to ensure optimal shot composition and performance.
• Work closely with animation, lighting, and environment teams to ensure seamless integration of layout with the rest of the production pipeline.
• Provide feedback and direction to the layout team, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve layout issues during production.
• Ensure layout work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards, meeting production deadlines.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the latest 3D layout tools and techniques.

Profile required

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in 3D Layout animation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong proficiency in 3D layout and animation software (Maya, Blender, etc.).
• Deep knowledge of cinematography, camera techniques, composition, and storytelling through layout.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to give clear, constructive feedback.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a team and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in managing and coordinating with other departments such as animation, modeling, and lighting.
• A passion for storytelling and 3D animation.
• Spanish work permit or possibility of working in Spain.

Preferred:

• Availability to work in person at the studio in Tenerife.
• Previous experience in a 3D layout or cinematography role for animated features or TV series.
• Experience with other animation tools or software.
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
