A leading animation studio based in the beautiful Canary Islands seeks a talented Layout Artist to join their team for an exciting new project. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to the visual storytelling of the upcoming animated series, bringing technical skills and creativity to the forefront. This is a full-time position for a 9-month temporary contract with opportunities for growth and adventure in a vibrant creative environment.

Formación

ATLANTIS ANIMATION is an animation studio based in the heavenly Canary Island of Tenerife. A combination of creative talent and technology definitely distinguishes us as a different studio to produce high quality animated series and feature films. We produced the sensational series Tara Duncan and Miraculous Ladybug season 5, both broadcasted on Disney Channel and Disney +.

We are now getting ready for an absolutely new captivating project, the series 'Messi and the Giants', produced by Sony Music Vision, Sony Pictures Television Kids and Leo Messi Management, and broadcasted by Disney . An epic saga where a young boy named Leo is transported from his home in Argentina into a fantastical alternate universe.

We are looking for a talented Layout Artist with a strong foundation in visual storytelling and 3D workflows. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and artistic sensibility to help establish the visual language of our scenes.

Location : Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain)

Requirements :

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Maya
• Strong understanding of cinematography , including camera placement, movement, and lens choices
• Solid grasp of composition and visual storytelling principles to support narrative flow
• Experience with basic lighting setups and understanding of rendering concepts
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in file and scene management
• Ability to interpret scripts and storyboards , translating them into engaging 3D layouts
• Understanding of real-world scale , proportions, and spatial relationships
• Experience in asset management , scene assembly, and optimization for performance
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in animation pipelines
Software :
