A leading company in the hospitality sector is seeking a Laundry Manager to oversee daily laundry operations. The role involves ensuring efficient processes, quality control, and managing equipment maintenance. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least three years of experience in laundry operations, with strong technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
Position Summary: Supervise the daily operation of the laundry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Laundry Managers play a vital role in managing facility operations. They should possess technical proficiency, assess methods and procedures, understand equipment and supplies, exercise good judgment in corrective actions, and determine the importance of divisional programs.
The Laundry Master reports to the Executive Housekeeper and is responsible for the efficient daily operation of the laundry. They must apply common sense, follow detailed instructions, and handle guest-related issues effectively.
Hiring Qualifications:
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, with at least three years of experience or training in laundry operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret English documents related to safety, operations, and procedures.
Physical Requirements: Regularly stand, walk, handle objects, reach, communicate, and may need to sit, stoop, kneel, or crawl in emergencies. Must frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.
