BME | Bolsas y Mercados Españoles is seeking a Performance/Non-Functional Tests Engineer to design, automate, and execute latency and throughput tests for a low-latency matching application within the trading platform.

You will collaborate across testing, infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure release readiness and robust performance under market-like traffic. English proficiency required and a hybrid schedule is offered.

Formación

• Strong Linux engineering background with Bash and Python; C/C++ experience.
• Experience implementing automated non-functional tests and traffic simulations.
• Deep understanding of networks affecting low-latency systems.
• Hands-on DevOps with automation tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent verbal and written English; able to collaborate across teams.
• Willingness to occasionally work outside normal hours for major tests.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and execute performance strategies for a matching app focusing on latency and throughput.
• Build and automate test harnesses and CI pipelines to assess performance and scalability.
• Visualize NFTE results with dashboards (Grafana) and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, database, and testing teams for realistic market conditions.
• Troubleshoot from network packets to OS/app behavior; drive root cause analyses.
