The primary responsibility of this role is to perform tasks related to publishing, assessing, and enhancing the quality of content in the Amazon Prime Video catalogue, using expert knowledge of Turkish language. The role requires making high-judgment decisions following standard procedures.

Please note this is a Madrid office-based position.

Key job responsibilities

1. Apply knowledge of Turkish language to execute standard projects or components to improve processes, using tools or reports to meet quality metrics.
2. Manage escalations on routine tasks.
3. Create or fix media assets such as subtitles, metadata, or artwork with high quality.

About the team

Alongside teams in Chennai, India, and San Jose, Costa Rica, the Prime Video Global Operations team collaborates with stakeholders across Prime Video to oversee asset deliveries, system processing, and content publishing. We ensure search, discovery, and playback are device-agnostic, defect-free, and engaging, playing a critical role in powering Prime Video’s global entertainment vision.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Fluency in Turkish (C1 level) with understanding of region-specific jargon and colloquialisms.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Educational background in foreign languages, translation, linguistics, or 1-2 years in localization or subtitling.
• Ability to deliver results and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Critical thinking skills and ability to work with creative content.
• Understanding of digital media and video supply chains.
• Experience in post-production or content publishing quality management.
