The primary responsibility of this role is to perform tasks related to publishing, assessing, and enhancing the quality of content in the Amazon Prime Video catalog, utilizing expert knowledge of the English language. The role involves making high-judgment decisions following standard operating procedures.

Please note : This is a Madrid office-based role.

Key job responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of the English language and execute small-scale projects or components of larger projects to improve processes, using tools or reporting to meet quality metrics or improvements.
  • Manage escalations on routine or predefined tasks.
  • Create or correct media assets such as subtitles, metadata, or artwork with high quality.

About the team

Along with sites in Chennai, India, and San Jose, Costa Rica, the Prime Video Global Operations team collaborates with various stakeholders across Prime Video (Program, Business, Partner Operations, Tech, Product, Research, and Science) to oversee asset delivery, system processing, and content publishing. Our goal is to ensure that every search, discovery, and playback interaction with Prime Video is device-agnostic, defect-free, and engaging for customers. The DigiFlex Operations organization plays a crucial role in ensuring our content is complete and accurate, supporting Prime Video’s vision to be the premier global entertainment source.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Fluency in English (C1 level), including understanding region-specific jargon and colloquialisms.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Educational background in foreign languages, translation studies, or linguistics, or 1-2 years of experience in localization or subtitling.
  • Ability to deliver results and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to provide insights while working with creative content.
  • Understanding of digital media and / or digital video supply chains.
  • Experience in the post-production or studios industry related to content publishing or quality management.
