Highly creative design and merchandising studio based in central Barcelona, providing design and production to market leading high street brands. Such as Inditex, Bestseller, LPP, USA Market, UK Market, Spain and France Market and many more. The group are within one of China's largest garment manufacturer's with connection to the best fabric mills and production factories across Asia. The team in Barcelona are looking to expand their design team as the business continues to grow. As part of our team of designers, the responsibilities and job activities include (depending on seniority and profile):

Responsibilities

• Range building
• Moodboards
• Sketching
• Technical files and fitting proto samples
• Managing development timelines and ready-dates with the sample rooms in China
• Fabric sourcing and fabric development follow-up with the fabric teams and various China departments
• Visiting fabric fairs and research trips around the world
• Attending client meetings and presenting collection
• We are currently seeking designers for Ladies/Mens Outerwear

Candidate Profile

• Proven creative talent with strong passion for trends.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Client driven design based on various positionings and cultural preferences
• Culturally sensitive in working with our teams in China and a diverse team in Barcelona

General job requirements

• BA Fashion design degree
• Strong computer literacy and design execution in a creation platform (Adobe/Procreate)
• Ability to travel regularly to China and inspiring cities around the world
• Fluent English; Spanish is also strongly preferred

Senior designers

• Strong experience working with various woven fabrics
• Proven Range building capabilities
• Client relationships management
• Deep understanding of garment fitting and pattern
