Formación

  • 5 años de experiencia en ingeniería de procesos en laboratorios de lentes oftálmicas.

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Labs Industrial Engineer to work with us on a daily basis. Your primary responsibility will be to engineer service support for the integration of new software, products, and technologies into existing lab equipment platforms for third-party labs. This involves setting up and configuring new optical lens designs for customers, troubleshooting and resolving software and production process deviations and issues, and ensuring quality control of ophthalmic lens production in optical labs.

  • Engineer service support in the integration of new software, products, and technologies into existing lab equipment platforms of third-party labs to successfully manufacture lenses made with any of the IoT technologies.
  • Set up and configure new optical lens designs for customers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and production process deviations and issues.
  • Ensure quality control of ophthalmic lens production in optical labs, including surfacing, coating, and process improvement services.
  • Collaborate from a technical perspective in managing IoT customers (ophthalmic labs) with the sales and marketing teams.
  • Interdepartmental collaboration for multiple projects and tasks.
  • Work with the commercial team to develop new strategies.
  • Communicate and collaborate with development teams to resolve software issues.
  • Provide consulting, customer service (not sales), and training to customers.
  • Maintain relationships with customers and support their needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, or Optical Engineering. You should also have at least 5 years of process engineering experience in manufacturing laboratories of ophthalmic lenses. Additionally, you should possess advanced computer skills, be customer-focused, able to set priorities quickly, adapt to change, and learn continuously. You should be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Optical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5 years of process engineering experience in ophthalmic lens manufacturing laboratories.
  • Advanced computer skills, customer-focused, able to prioritize, adapt to change, and learn continuously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and technical skills.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work independently.
