TITLE OF THE POSITION OFFERED: LABORATORY TECHNICIAN.
SUBJECT AREA: AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES.
TYPE OF CONTRACT: temporary
PROFESSIONAL CATEGORY: GROUP III. Specialist Technician (High School Diploma, Vocational Training Level II or equivalent).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: SENIOR LABORATORY TECHNICIAN IN ANALYSIS AND QUALITY CONTROL.
In the event of not possessing the required academic qualifications, applications may be accepted if they have training and experience in accordance with the tasks to be carried out and merits to be assessed:
- Training courses and/or subjects of official university qualifications related to the IDENTIFICATION AND QUANTIFICATION OF BIOACTIVE COMPOUNDS IN FRUITS AND VEGETABLES
- Professional experience in IDENTIFICATION AND QUANTIFICATION OF BIOACTIVE COMPOUNDS IN FRUITS AND VEGETABLES.
WEEKLY DEDICATION: Full time (35 hours/week).
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday from 09:00h a.m. to 14:00h p.m and from 15:30 p.m h to 17:30h p.m.
GROSS ANNUAL REMUNERATION: The worker will receive a gross annual salary of € 22.044,54 euros.
PROJECT TITLE: Complementary R&D&I Plan in the Agri-Food Sector (AGROALNEXT).
DURATION: The contract to be signed will be for a fixed term, starting from the date of formalisation of the contract, and may not exceed the project end date of 31/12/2025.
INTENDED DATE OF DEPUTY EMPLOYMENT: Immediate.
TASKS TO BE CARRIED OUT: Extraction, identification and quantification of bioactive compounds in fruits and vegetables by spectrophotometry, liquid chromatography coupled (or not) to mass spectrometry, etc.
PLACE OF WORK: Institute of Plant Biotechnology (IBV), at the Food Quality and Health Unit; and at the E.T.S. Agronomic Engineering (ETSIA).
MERITS TO BE ASSESSED AND EVALUATION CRITERIA:
Academic training (20%): academic transcript will be assessed.
Specific training (20%): In courses on extraction, identification and quantification of bioactive compounds in fruit and vegetables. Spectrophotometry, liquid chromatography coupled (or not) to mass spectrometry, etc.

Personal interview (20%): Motivation, aptitude, knowledge related to the subject.
