Are you passionate about engineering and automotive safety? Do you have experience in the development and validation of airbag systems and aesthetic plastic components? We want you on our team!

Main Responsibilities

1. Analyze and improve testing methods for airbag components and plastic parts, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
2. Manage the availability of resources, equipment, and materials for laboratory tests.
3. Review and validate test reports, airbag matrices, and technical documentation within established deadlines.
4. Coordinate calibration and verification of laboratory equipment, and ensure maintenance plans are followed.
5. Participate in customer and system audits, supporting the preparation of procedures and instructions.
6. Analyze customer specifications, identify risks, and propose technical solutions.
7. Provide technical support to production teams and airbag technicians.
8. Collaborate with design, ergonomics, and interior engineering teams to optimize the integration of restraint systems and plastic parts in the vehicle.
9. Manage and validate Tier 1 suppliers, ensuring quality and timely delivery of components.
10. Prepare monthly invoicing and support quality documentation management.

Requirements

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Materials Science, or similar.
2. Minimum 3-4 years' experience in the development and validation of airbag systems and aesthetic plastic parts for the automotive industry.
3. Knowledge of plastic injection molding processes and their application in vehicle interiors.
4. Experience in laboratory testing management, result analysis, and preparation of technical reports.
5. Ability to coordinate audits and manage quality documentation.
6. Familiarity with safety regulations, homologation, and quality systems in the automotive sector.
7. High level of English (other languages are a plus).
8. Analytical skills, results-oriented, and ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.

Valued Skills

1. Experience with APQP, DVP&R;, DFMEA, DRBFM, and Tier 1 supplier management.
2. Knowledge of CAD tools and tolerance analysis.
3. Experience in international projects and direct interaction with OEM clients.
4. Familiarity with HSE and 5S standards.
