Lab Engineer

The main responsibilities and tasks that this position require are:

1. Participation in the definition of tests together with the requester.
2. Development of own tools for data analysis.
3. Analysis of test results, as well as the generation of reports of the test campaigns.
4. Schedule of tests.
5. Selection of laboratory equipment related to data acquisition, sensors and own special equipment.
6. Resolution of problems related to data acquisition, sensors, own facilities, etc.
7. Strong interaction with laboratory technicians and test requesters.

The requirements that the candidate must have and/or will be valued are:

1. Highly desirable bachelor and/or master’s in engineering which include contents in areas related to thermodynamics, thermal engineering, fluid mechanics, thermal machines or similar.
2. Experience working in a laboratory with climatic chambers or calorimeters.
3. Experience working with refrigeration, air conditioning, thermal machines or components of these systems such as compressors.
4. Knowledge of refrigeration is necessary.
5. Ability to work in a team.
6. Effective oral and written communication.
7. English level B2.
8. Programming knowledge in any language will be positively valued.
9. Problem-solving and data analysis skills.
