Our goal is to strengthen the brand in Spain. We are looking for an expert to work as an L3 Support Engineer.
In a typical day as a Senior Software Dev / L3 Support Engineer, you would:
- Be responsible for troubleshooting all L3 cases open for complex products and platforms, including finding the cause of the issue, solving the issue, testing, and generating patches.
- Work on the container deployment flavor of the product, which is recently released.
- Work closely with L2 support, development, and delivery teams to analyze, debug, and resolve product issues.
- Help peers in R&D with your strong sense of commitment & ownership to drive tasks to closure, utilizing decisive verbal & written communication skills with courtesy.
Job requirements:
- Good programming skills in any language such as Java, Python, Shell scripting, with understanding of objects, Linux, Unix scripting (Bash).
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn about Virtualization and Containerization technologies (Docker & Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Ansible.
- Fluent in English.
What is a plus?
- HPE eIUM certification.
- Overall knowledge of telecom domain and protocols like Diameter, Radius, SOAP/HTTP, SMPP, Web Services, HTTP Rest architecture.
- Good networking knowledge: Protocols, distributed systems, network security, high availability.
- Experience in software product/solution testing (functional, system, performance).
- Experience with testing tools like Seagull, J-Meter, SOAP UI.
- Good knowledge of Web Services (SOAP/HTTP), XML, JMX, JDBC, JMS, LDAP, Java Security.
- Working knowledge of databases like Oracle, MySQL.
- Knowledge of High Availability Systems (HA).
- Understanding of SDLC in an Agile environment.
