A global technology company is seeking an L3 Support Engineer to strengthen its brand in Spain. The role includes troubleshooting complex product issues, collaborating with support teams, and requires proficiency in programming languages and CI/CD tools. Formación

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Shell scripting.

• Troubleshoot all L3 cases for complex products and platforms.
• Collaborate with L2 support and development teams on product issues.
• Assist R&D with effective communication and task resolution.

Descripción del empleo

Our goal is to strengthen the brand in Spain. We are looking for an expert to work as an L3 Support Engineer.

In a typical day as an L3 Support Engineer, you would:

1. Be responsible for troubleshooting all L3 cases open for complex products and platforms, including identifying the cause of issues, resolving them, testing, and generating patches.
2. Work on the container deployment flavor of the product, which is recently released.
3. Collaborate closely with L2 support, development, and delivery teams to analyze, debug, and resolve product issues.
4. Assist peers in R&D with your strong sense of commitment and ownership, ensuring tasks are driven to closure with effective communication and courtesy.

Job requirements:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Shell scripting, along with Linux and Unix scripting (Bash).
• Knowledge or willingness to learn virtualization and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Ansible.

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of telecom domain and protocols like Diameter, Radius, SOAP / HTTP, SMPP, Web Services, REST architecture.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, distributed systems, network security, and high availability.
• Experience in software product testing, including functional, system, and performance testing.
• Familiarity with testing tools like Seagull, J-Meter, SOAP UI.
• Knowledge of Web Services, XML, JMX, JDBC, JMS, LDAP, Java Security.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle and MySQL.
• Understanding of High Availability (HA) systems.
• Awareness of SDLC in agile / dynamic environments.
