Neotalent Conclusion is seeking an L2 Platform Operations Engineer to support MuleSoft operations across Europe in a multi-cloud setup. You will manage incidents, perform platform analysis, and drive improvements.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in MuleSoft operations, strong Terraform/OpenShift skills, and experience with OAuth/OpenID security and ITIL processes. Hybrid work with international exposure is offered.

Formación

• 3 to 5 years of MuleSoft platform management and operations (not API development).
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Omni Gateway / Flex Gateway.
• Strong Terraform, OpenShift and GitHub expertise.
• Knowledge of OAuth/OpenID, API security standards and ITIL processes.

We are looking for an L2 Platform Operations Engineer – MuleSoft (Europe Shift) to join our teams and work with a leading international client, supporting business-critical MuleSoft platform operations in a global multi-cloud environment.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Govern and oversee L2 operational activities during the Europe shift to ensure service continuity and SLA compliance.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents within agreed SLA timelines.
• Perform platform analysis and operational troubleshooting activities.
• Analyze logs and identify the root cause of operational issues.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required.
• Support daily operational activities and service requests.
• Assist with deployment, release, and change implementation activities.
• Execute operational procedures, runbooks, and recovery actions.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and known workarounds.
• Maintain and update knowledge base articles and operational documentation.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend service improvements.
• Assist with root cause analysis (RCA) activities.
• Develop and maintain simple automation scripts for repetitive operational tasks.
• Track assigned actions through to completion and closure.
• Drive production support meetings and operational reviews.
• Support Flex Gateway platform setup and operations.
• Participate in on-call activities and major incident resolution when required.

What profile are we looking for?

• Academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in MuleSoft platform management and operations (not API development).
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Omni Gateway / Flex Gateway.
• Strong experience with Terraform.
• Solid expertise in OpenShift.
• Experience working with GitHub.
• Basic knowledge of AWS.
• Basic knowledge of Azure.
• Strong expertise in Authentication and Authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and OpenID standards.
• Knowledge of API security standards and their implementation.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes and service management practices.
• Experience with Argo CI/CD.
• Experience working with internal teams and external providers in international and cross-functional environments.
• Availability to support occasional out-of-hours operational activities.
• Availability for short-term travel or relocation when required.

Nice to Have

• Additional experience with MuleSoft Flex Gateway.
• Knowledge of XML, XSD, WSDL, WS-*, Java, and JSON.
• Basic networking knowledge including Virtual IPs, Firewalls, and Load Balancers.
• User-level experience with SoapUI and Postman.
• Experience with ServiceNow.
• Linux administration knowledge.
