Sofitel Barcelona Skipper in Barcelona offers a kitchen internship with tasks across daily service, mise-en-place, cleaning, storage and safety protocol. You will learn equipment use and proper product handling in a dynamic hotel setting overlooking the beach.

Applicants must be enrolled in Hospitality or Business School, fluent in Spanish and English, with French as a plus, and available for at least six months, full-time 40 hours/week.

Responsabilidades

• Learn to prepare the daily service and the mise-en-place.
• Cleaning and maintenance of your work area and kitchenware.
• Learn proper use of work machines and PPE.
• Correct storage of prepared products with date identification.
• Annotate necessary products for the next service.
• Maintain order, cleanliness and uphold environmental policy.

• Correct storage of the prepared products in the appropriate chamber and identification of the preparation date.
• Annotating the necessary products for the next service.
• Proper order, cleaning, and maintenance of your work area.
• Compliance with the environmental policy.

Requisitos

• Eligibility (Spain) : Candidates must have the legal right to undertake an internship in Spain from the start date. No visa/work permit sponsorship available.
• Currently enrolled in a Hospitality School or a Business School.
• Strong social and communication skills to build valued relationships.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and detail- oriented.
• Excellent command of Spanish and English; French is a plus.
• Eager to learn (no prior specialization required) .
• Available for at least 6 months, 5 days/week, 40 hours/week.
