A leading MedTech company is seeking a dynamic Account Manager in Spain to drive business growth in radiation oncology. This role involves building strong partnerships with healthcare professionals, developing existing accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction while aligning clinical needs with innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical devices and proven sales experience, along with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Formación

Are you a dynamic and results-driven sales professional with expertise in radiation oncology? Do you thrive in a hybrid role with significant travel, building strong partnerships with customers? If so, Elekta is looking for an Account Manager in Spain to drive business growth.

What you’ll do at Elekta

As Account Manager , you will drive revenue growth across your geographical region by developing existing accounts and selling Elekta’s full range of radiation oncology solutions (hardware, software, and services).

You’ll be the key link between our customers and Elekta, building strong, lasting relationships while aligning their clinical needs with Elekta’s innovations.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Execution

  • Identify and map business opportunities in your territory.

  • Develop and execute approved action plans to achieve sales goals.

  • Qualify customer needs and tailor proposals across Elekta’s entire product suite.

  • Drive revenue from the installed base through upgrades and after-sales service solutions.

  • Manage customer satisfaction and lead resolution efforts in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

  • Maintain up-to-date sales forecasts, opportunities, and customer intelligence in CRM tools.

Offer Management

  • Develop and review technical and financial offers in collaboration with product and finance teams.

  • Use tools like Oracle CPQ and Salesforce to prepare compliant, accurate proposals.

  • Monitor progress of offers and ensure timely follow-up on commercial activities.

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Visit customer sites regularly to ensure satisfaction, develop new opportunities, and maintain a strong presence.

  • Identify and engage key opinion leaders (KOLs) and decision-makers.

  • Gather insights on competitor activity and market trends, sharing feedback with marketing.

  • Attend congresses and regional events to promote Elekta and identify new leads.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams including Sales, Service, Applications, Marketing, and Project Management.

  • Propose and implement process improvements.

  • Ensure optimal use and care of company-provided tools and systems.

What you bring

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a clinical, business, or technical field – or equivalent professional experience.

  • Background in physics, dosimetry, or hospital IT systems preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of medical devices; radiation oncology or radiosurgery experience is highly desirable.

  • Proven sales experience in capital medical equipment or complex healthcare solutions.

Skills & Attributes

  • Fluent in Spanish & English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

  • Commercially driven with a persistent and results-focused mindset.

  • Comfortable working independently and within cross-functional, international teams.

  • Skilled in using Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Qlik Sense, Seismic, and similar platforms.

  • Able to communicate effectively across all levels—from technologists to C-suite leaders.

  • Ethical, resilient, and strategically minded.
