Join a leading international IT purchasing solutions provider as a Key Account Manager in Madrid. This role focuses on establishing strong relationships with corporate clients, ensuring their needs are met and driving sales success. Formación

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales or account management.
  • Excellent command of English and Spanish (C1 level or higher).
  • Solid understanding of IT hardware, software, and procurement workflows.

To expand our growth, we are seeking a Key Account Manager.

Job requirements

  • Consistently demonstrated strong results.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably in IT procurement, SaaS, or related industries. Familiarity with global procurement processes is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of IT hardware, software, and procurement workflows, with the ability to translate technical needs into business solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset with a "get things done" attitude.
  • Secondary or higher education required.
  • Excellent command of English and Spanish (both C1 level or higher).
  • Able and willing to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Resilient under pressure, with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Fast learner with a capacity to adapt quickly.
  • Skilled in market analysis and comfortable working with data and statistical tools.
  • Experience managing global accounts is an advantage.

Job responsibilities

  • Monitor key performance indicators and analyze results to support continuous improvement.
  • Understand the target customer profile and maintain a healthy and qualified sales pipeline
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with both existing and potential corporate clients
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engaging with key stakeholders to build trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Proactively identify customer needs and suggest improvements to processes where applicable.
  • Provide tailored IT procurement solutions and clearly communicate the value of Markit's platform.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on complex, large-scale, and international accounts.
  • Oversee order management and ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Work closely with client support and internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Complete necessary vendor certifications to stay up to date with product knowledge and industry standards.

At Markit Spain, we're opening a new chapter in Madrid, where we're looking for our next Key Account Manager to help us grow and succeed together with our clients. By joining us, you'll become part of a dedicated and collaborative team based between Madrid and Barcelona, working closely with around 200 Markiteers across the globe.
