Hybrid Field-based position, with time spent at client-sites as well as RS offices, covering North and West regions.

Here at RS Iberia, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Account Manager to join a sales team which is focused on enabling our customers to maintain and improve their operations, win and protect business, and contribute to the development of our company.

You will not stand still in this role, and we will provide you with all the training, support, and opportunities you need to take your career further. This is your chance to be part of an innovative, diverse, truly world-class sales team!

Here Is More About What You Will Be Doing...

Spending a sizeable part of your time 'on the road', you will be the key point of contact for our customers within the assigned portfolio covering the North and West regions. These companies are incredibly varied, coming from a wealth of different industries and backgrounds. We will look to you to work closely with these customers to develop repeat business, protect, and grow existing revenue, as well as safeguard profit margins. In order to do this you will need to:

  • Identify and target revenue potential within your portfolio
  • Produce robust business plans that exceed sales and profit targets
  • Build a detailed understanding of the customers, markets, and competitors
  • Maintain and upkeep accurate customer records
  • Build coalitions across the business to support the delivery of sales targets including with the internal account managers

What existing skills and experience will you need to be successful in this opportunity?

  • You will have experience in a field-based sales role with account management responsibilities and exposure to working to KPIs and targets
  • Someone who takes a solution-led consultative approach to their work
  • You possess a proven ability in strategic thinking and planning
  • You are an excellent relationship builder
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possessing the ability and willingness to embrace change
  • Any Salesforce CRM or B2B experience would be a bonus!
  • And of course – a driving licence is essential!
