Formación

  • 5 años de experiencia en gestión de cuentas y cumplimiento de objetivos de crecimiento.

As Europe’s #1 in the industry, we provide monitored surveillance services to customers primarily in the construction and civil engineering industry by combining our ruggedized monitoring towers, our own in-house software, and our leading end-to-end operations (incl. service and logistics) with remote monitoring to protect our customers’ assets. We are looking for a Key Account Manager Construction

As Key Account Manager, you will work closely with the Managing Director Spain to drive commercial growth while taking accountability for reaching targets and growth objectives in the construction market. Ultimately, you will manage your accounts to ensure that you meet or exceed the expectations of our business targets and contribute to our company’s success in the long run.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Contribute to the commercial plan by identifying and leveraging partnership opportunities in the construction sector.
  • Build and maintain a relevant network of construction companies (e.g., residential, industrial).
  • Work closely with the marketing team and support marketing activities, e.g., by giving company presentations and attending trade fairs.
  • Collaborate with other members of the sales team.
  • Attend to customer queries.
  • Maintain a customer-focused attitude.
  • Drive sales growth by acquiring new customers, building sales partnerships, and nurturing relationships.
  • Contribute to the performance of marketing activities, such as carrying out telephone campaigns and attending trade fairs.
  • Develop and nurture new and existing customers and enter into partnerships by building and maintaining your relationship network.
  • Follow up on commercial opportunities to ensure a lasting bond between the customer and BauWatch.
  • Advise the key account manager, product management, and group management on opportunities and threats in the market.
  • Suggest adjustments to the commercial strategy based on experiences and data collected.
  • Support the sales team in acquiring new customers by following up on marketing leads.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in managing key accounts and responsibility for achieving growth targets.
  • Strong and credible relationships with key decision-makers in your market.
  • Highly goal-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong B2B sales experience with the ability to prospect and manage high-level relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Secondary vocational education.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in building and/or managing partnerships; ideally in a growth environment.
  • Experience in business development in B2B.
  • Willingness to travel around Spain, including overnight stays (paid expenses).
  • Experience or interest in visiting construction sites.
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred.

Technology skills:

  • Good knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • Preferably experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce.
  • Preferably experience with ERP systems, such as SAP.

Language Requirements:

  • Native Spanish speaker.
  • Advanced (conversational) English skills for internal communication.
  • Full, valid driving license.
