Formación

  • Grado en ingeniería eléctrica o electrónica requerido.
  • Conocimientos técnicos de plantas fotovoltaicas y equipos principales.

Responsabilidades

  • Revisar documentación de ingeniería detallada para proyectos en construcción.
  • Realizar estudios eléctricos para plantas solares y eólicas a nivel mundial.

Job Description Summary:

Vector Renewables offers professional consulting services in the renewable energy industry, specializing in wind, solar and hydro. It belongs to the group Nadara and it covers the full life cycle of renewable energy projects through its three business lines: Asset Management, Technical Advisory, & Legal Advisory. Exceeding 230 GW of track record in Technical Advisory services, over 5.4 GW under management and 6 GW in Legal Advisory. Vector Renewables reinforces its position as a reference in the market, present with 8 offices worldwide and over 200 employees. The position will be based in Madrid (Spain). The main activity will be to perform electrical detailed engineering reviews for projects under construction as well as projects under development/design stage worldwide. Moreover, he/she will perform engineering designs and support the consultant team during TDD services in electrical matters.

Job Description:
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Review detailed engineering documentation for projects under construction.
  2. Review technical documentation related to electrical and communications issues.
  3. Perform electrical studies for Solar PV plants (and wind farms) worldwide.
  4. Support consultancy team as electrical specialist during Technical Due Diligence.
  5. Perform engineering drawings and specifications (i.e., for EPC tendering).
  6. Perform advisory activities.
Key Requirements:
  1. Engineering degree: electrical or electronic.
  2. Technical knowledge of PV plants working principles.
  3. Technical knowledge of main equipment: PV modules, inverters, transformers, weather stations, and substations.
  4. Experience in using specific software: PVsyst and DIgSILENT.
  5. Computer skills: Microsoft Office package, AutoCAD, Google Earth.
  6. Fluent in Spanish/English.
  7. Driving license.
Desired Requirements:
  1. Experience in design/construction of energy plants and/or substations.
  2. Technical knowledge of energy storage systems.
  3. Technical knowledge of energy markets.
  4. Electrical design software: ETAP and DIgSILENT.
  5. Experience in wind.
