Arup is seeking an urban planner to join its City Planning & Design team in Granada. The role involves conceptualizing urban development proposals and engaging with a diverse team on sustainability-driven projects. Ideal candidates will have a background in Architecture or Civil Engineering, 2-5 years of relevant experience, and a strong command of CAD and ArcGIS. Role
We are currently seeking to incorporate an urban planner profile into the City Planning & Design team, an area that is dedicated, among other things, to the planning and development of cities, seeking a balance between the social, economic and environmental dimensions, and always providing the components of sustainability and innovation to all development proposals. The person will join a dynamic team and will participate in all cutting-edge projects carried out in the Department.
This person will fundamentally participate in urban planning projects, including conceptualization of urban development proposals, drafting and processing of planning instruments, processing of urbanization projects, urban feasibility analysis, etc.
As part of their daily tasks this person will be exposed to strategic urban projects and multidisciplinary teams that typically include architects, engineers, urban planners, environmentalists, sociologists, economists and lawyers, which will give them access to a better understanding of urban complexity in an environment continuous training.
