AECOM in Madrid is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join the Rail Systems and Traction Power team. You will work within multidisciplinary groups delivering railway electrification projects for metro, light rail, tram and mainline rail, supporting design development and reporting.
The role requires a degree in electrical engineering and 1–3 years in power systems or railway electrification, with English proficiency. ETAP/PowerFactory knowledge and CAD/BIM skills are a plus.
Formación
- Electrical engineer with 1–3 years experience in power systems or railway electrification.
- Ability to communicate and fully develop projects in English.
- Knowledge of power-system analysis software such as ETAP or DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
- Experience with electrical substations design, calculation, and protection systems.
Responsabilidades
- Contribute to design development, risk assessment and mitigation for traction power systems.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications and drawings; liaise with BIM/CAD modellers.
- Review documentation and support testing, commissioning activities as required.
- Integrate design processes within the System Engineering and System Assurance framework.
