As a Junior Support Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing tickets/incidences and customer requests.

Responsibilities

  1. Manages Windows 10 and Rocky Linux (users, permissions, policies, local storage, Install apps, etc.).
  2. Performs the installation, support and maintenance of the servers, computer systems and wireless and local area networks.
  3. Performs the installation, configuration, layout and maintenance of hardware and software equipment.
  4. Solves, manages and documents customer queries, tickets and requests and develops other departmental administrative tasks.
  5. Solves most tickets in the first contact and otherwise escalates it.
  6. Configure mobile devices.
  7. Performs scripts in different languages (Power Shell, Python and VB Script) to improve and maintain the environment.
  8. Tests internal developments.
  9. Monitors and updates the inventory of hardware and software.
  10. Ensures that the quality standards required for the support service are met.
  11. Assists other team members, when necessary.
  12. Follows Supervisor’s and Lead´s guidance.

Requirements

  1. At least 2 year of professional experience in IT departments.
  2. Experience with logging tools and ticketing management.
  3. Experience in design, installation, diagnosis and maintenance of local area networks, wireless networks, network electronics and IT security.
  4. Knowledge and experience in the integration of new applications and new hardware in user equipment and inventory maintenance.
  5. Knowledge and experience in different OS: LINUX (Rocky, CentOS, Ubuntu), OS X, Windows, Windows Server.
  6. Medium English level required.
  7. Spanish desirable.
