Hempel in Spain is seeking a Junior Supply Chain – Planning trainee to support production planning and scheduling within our planning and purchasing department during a 6-month paternity leave cover. You will gain hands-on experience by developing and implementing production plans, aiming for efficient resource use while meeting quality, cost, and waste targets.

• Use information systems and production specifications to produce schedules and production plans and estimate the manpower, tools and equipment needed to manufacture products.
• Monitor production activity and analyze production data so that the flow of materials is timed and meet production requirements.
• Adjust schedules to accommodate backlogs, design changes and material or labour shortages.
• Prepare work orders for production based on production schedule.
• Follow all guidelines and Group procedures regarding Health & Safety and Environment.
