Hempel is seeking a proactive Junior Supply Chain - Planning professional to support production planning in our Polinyà, Spain site. This 6‑month paternity leave cover offers hands-on experience building and implementing production plans and maximizing resource efficiency while meeting quality, cost and waste targets.

You will work with logistics, production, R&D, and supplier teams, contributing to a dynamic manufacturing environment and gaining valuable industry exposure in a global coatings

Formación

• University degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience as planner or in a production environment handling production orders.
• Willingness to undertake a minimum of 6-month paternity leave cover.
• Able to communicate clearly in Spanish and English.
• Proficient in using Microsoft digital tools.

Responsabilidades

• Use information systems and production specifications to produce schedules and production plans and estimate manpower, tools and equipment needed to manufacture products.
• Monitor production activity and analyze production data so that the flow of materials is timed and meets production requirements.
• Adjust schedules to accommodate backlogs, design changes and material or labour shortages.
• Prepare work orders for production based on production schedule.
• Follow all guidelines and Group procedures regarding Health & Safety and Environment.
