Hempel Paints Kuwait Company W.L.L. seeks a Senior Project Manager, Global Logistics to lead regional freight optimization and drive digital solutions across MEI and Deco businesses.

You will shape the future of global logistics operations with a strong cross-functional focus and data-driven approaches. You will define KPIs, streamline freight booking, enhance shipment visibility, and collaborate with Procurement, Digital, and Customer Care to deliver cost-efficient, scalable logistics programs.

Formación

• Degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or digital transformation.
• Experience leading cross-functional improvement or digitalization projects.
• Understanding of freight booking, shipment tracking, and invoice validation workflows.
• Strong project and KPI-tracking capabilities.
• Fluent English; other European languages are a plus.

Senior Project Manager, Global Logistics

As Senior Project Manager, Global Logistics, you will play a key role in enhancing our global logistics capabilities while working with stakeholders across regions and functions. In this role you will play a key role in shaping the future of our global logistics operations. Leading strategic initiatives across the freight network, you will drive the simplification, standardization, and digitalization of logistics processes, with a focus on automation, customer visibility, service performance, and cost optimization. Through effective project management, you will deliver scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency and create a more connected, data-driven logistics organization. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse network of stakeholders across the organization and beyond. You will work closely with teams across Procurement, Digital, Customer Care, Business Process, and regional business functions, while building strong partnerships with freight vendors and customers. With a strong cross-regional focus, the role will initially support stakeholders across ME&I and later contribute to the expansion of best practices and solutions into the Deco business, helping drive alignment and consistency across global operations.

• Improve customer connectivity and enable customers to track their shipments.
• Establish a clear and efficient invoice validation process.
• Create end-to-end tracking of lead times and fulfilment performance for customers.
• Identify, track and deliver freight savings opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functional input from Procurement, Digital, Customer Care and Business Process teams.
• Engage freight vendors and ensure project requirements are understood and incorporated.
• Manage project scope across all regions while keeping warehouse vendors out of scope.
• Define detailed project KPIs, monitor progress and provide clear status updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Identify process, resource, cost and customer-service risks and coordinate mitigation actions.

• Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, business process management or digital transformation.
• Experience leading cross-functional process-improvement or digitalization projects.
• Understanding of freight booking, shipment tracking, invoice validation and logistics workflows.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management and KPI-tracking capabilities.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable process and digital solutions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; fluent written and verbal English.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional European languages is considered an asset.
