Job summary

ReHire, LLC seeks a Junior SRE Engineer to join its Reliability Engineering team, embedded with a regulated fintech client on AWS. You’ll help operate AI-assisted reliability programs, build monitors, and support incident response.

You will grow under senior engineers, with exposure to AI governance, structured runbooks, and CI/CD integration while improving system observability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years in SRE, DevOps, cloud infra, or production support.
• Advanced English (oral and written) REQUIRED.
• Hands-on AWS across compute, networking, storage, and managed DB services.
• Observability tools experience (Datadog preferred).
• Foundations in SLI/SLO and error-budget concepts.
• Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker/ECS/Kubernetes).
• Terraform preferred for IaC; Ansible or CloudFormation acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist incident response as shadow/secondary responder using AI-driven tools.
• Construct incident timelines from metrics, logs, traces, and deployment history; document postmortems.
• Support AI SRE sub-agents and flag anomalies for senior review.
• Develop and maintain Datadog monitors, dashboards, and SLOs as code using Terraform.
