These tasks are interesting for you
- You will work in an interdisciplinary team with highly qualified software engineers, UI/UX experts and product owners on high-quality software solutions.
- You will help our customers to design and implement complex and versatile software projects.
- You will live with us the agile software development in daily scrums, reviews with customers and retrospectives with support of our Agile Coaches.
- You design long-lasting software architectures together with your team and implement them iteratively and incrementally.
- You work in a self-organized manner within your project team and take on responsibility.
That makes you stand out
- You have completed a degree in information technology or hold similar qualifications.
- You have in-depth programming knowledge at least in one of the following technologies, e.g. C#, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript and you are enthusiastic about working with new technologies.
- You have knowledge of current technologies, software development methods and principles and follow current developments.
- You live high quality – this includes unit tests, code reviews, clean code, design patterns refactoring, conceptual clarity and modular architectures.
- For our growing team in Malaga, we are looking for people, who can perform their role in Spanish and English (at least B2-level). German is a plus.

Our hiring process
- The first step is a conversation with a colleague to get to know each other, tell you about XITASO and see if we are a good fit.
- The second step is a technical interview with one software engineer to talk more in depth about technology, your experience and background. As part of the interview, we will set you a task to get an impression of your technical understanding.
- The final step is our XITASO Experience. This day is for you to get to know our team and us as a company better. Together we will deepen the contents of the last conversations with you. You will get insights into the XITASO world – who we are, how we work – as well as meet some future companions. Furthermore, we would like to gain more insights in your way of working by dealing with case studies from our daily work. A feedback session brings the day to an end.
Transparent salary framework
We use a salary framework that defines expectations for each experience level and skill. This framework helps you understand your current level and shows what you need to grow further. We value transparency, so we include salary ranges for each level and share them during process to ensure alignment. Your growth and clarity are our priorities!
Within our salary framework, the gross annual salary of the position ranges from EUR 26,000 - 36,000 per year and is based on various factors such as qualifications and experience.
