Straumann Group is a global leader in dental implants and orthodontic solutions, and we are looking for a talented back-end software developer to join our team. As part of a growing team of specialists, you will be part of a team of engineers developing software tools for dental professionals and patients, including dentists, surgeons, and dental technicians.

As a back-end software developer, you will be working on amicroservicesbased architecture, using your expertise inJavato design and implement high-quality solutions. You will be part of anagileteam that values collaboration andcreativity, and you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment for a product-based company.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• As a back-end software developer, you will:
• Design and Developmicroservicesbased architectures
• Develop and manage databases
• Test software to ensure quality,data protectionand security
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Writetechnical documentation
• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Find opportunities for collaboration across international teams, work on cross-team commitments, and achieve scale by enabling the work of others.

Requirements:

Education

• Higher education in software engineering,computer scienceor a comparable field (e.g. medicalinformatics, healthcareelectronics), or equivalent work experience.
• Experience
• 3+ years of experience shippingcommercial softwarein a role as back-end software developer usingJavawithSpring Bootframework
• Proficiency onmicroservices architectures
• Experience oncode management(Git), releases, code quality
• Experience with databases (e.g.Postgres,SQL Server, …)
• Experience as a teamwork, and communication leader
• Professional fluency in English

• Experience withhealthcare software
