A Software QA Analyst at FX Digital has a passion for ensuring quality in all facets of their profession. You will report to the QA manager, who will offer guidance and support. You can competently and independently write robust test plans and test cases to ensure quality coverage within a fast-paced environment, managing multiple concurrent projects involving Smart TV apps. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of work quality across all deliverables.

You are brave enough to challenge team members regarding quality and processes, always striving for improvement. You foster a culture of curiosity and continuous learning of new languages, tools, and practices to uphold FX Digital's standards of quality and innovation.

You are a dependable and collaborative member of the QA and wider FX team, capable of effective communication and adherence to processes. You are motivated to innovate and develop your skills, contributing to increased professional knowledge and efficiency. You possess a keen eye for detail, a passion for process, and a thirst for knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Participate throughout the full test lifecycle, including test case planning, execution, defect reporting, and documentation.
• Enforce and uphold QA processes across the project lifecycle.
• Ensure work meets aesthetic and functional requirements, holding yourself and colleagues accountable.
• Maintain and update test plans and test cases.
• Report and prioritize bugs and issues through various channels.
• Communicate proactively and clearly with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Junior and Senior QAs to expand automation coverage.
• Support the personal development of junior QA team members.

Requirements

• Good understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Knowledge of APIs and related testing tools.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills across all levels.
• Experience with version control systems and workflows.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Ability to maintain accuracy and care while meeting deadlines.
• Experience with issue tracking tools such as Jira.
• Strong understanding of UX principles.
• Experience with debugging tools like web inspectors.
• Over 1 year of professional experience with multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience with OTT apps and Smart TV platforms.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks.
• ISTQB certification.
• Experience with unit testing, testing on gaming consoles, HTML video players, or mobile apps.
• Familiarity with Charles proxy.
