If you are passionate about 3D animated films and want to create cinematic magic, don't miss this opportunity!

We are looking for a talented Senior Final Layout Artist / Scene Compositor to join our team on the exciting new project, Animated Feature TAD 4!

You will be responsible for establishing virtual camera setups for each shot, creating excellent picture composition, and ensuring consistency and continuity in set dressing.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Setting up shots, refining camera work, set dressing, and picture composition.
• Translating storyboards into 3D shots.
• Optimizing details and asset placement to add depth, realism, and storytelling elements.
• Conforming timing and casting of shots.
• Setting dress shots according to the desired look of the film.
• Finalizing cinematic staging, camera positioning, settings, and composition.
• Finding technical and creative solutions to meet production needs.
• Working autonomously in a fully remote environment, managing multiple tasks independently.
• Collaborating effectively with the team to create a positive environment.
• Meeting deadlines, prioritizing workload, and adhering to budgets and schedules.
• Aligning with the project's style and the director's vision.

QUALIFICATIONS WE SEEK:

• 5+ years of experience in crowd animation, either in TV series or feature films.
• Proficiency in Maya.
• Understanding of camera settings such as focal lengths, depth of field, and f-stop.
• Knowledge of shot-based set dressing techniques.
• Ability to maintain continuity across sequences and the entire film.
• Strong eye for picture composition and attention to detail.
• Constructive feedback reception and implementation skills.
• Problem-solving skills with quick reaction times.
• Autonomy and proactive work attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
