Lever, Inc. is seeking a privacy lawyer to manage GDPR operations and help shape AI governance across international business operations.

You will draft Data Processing Agreements, assess privacy notices, and respond to data subject requests while monitoring EU AI Act developments. The role emphasizes independent ownership with cross-functional collaboration in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.

Formación

Law degree or equivalent qualification.
1–2 years hands-on data protection experience.
Strong knowledge of GDPR and its application in international business context.
Genuine interest in AI regulation and emerging technology law.

Responsabilidades

Manage day-to-day GDPR operations, including drafting DPAs and SCCs with vendors and clients.
Conduct privacy reviews of vendors and help maintain records of processing activities and notices across jurisdictions.
Support AI governance developments, readiness for EU AI Act requirements.
Handle data subject requests per applicable data protection requirements.
Explain relevant legal and privacy frameworks in clear, practical terms to operational teams and clients.
Research and monitor GDPR, EU AI Act, EDPB guidance, case law, and privacy requirements.
Translate regulatory developments into actionable guidance for internal stakeholders and collaborate with legal and specialized teams.
